1965 | Luciano Brancaglion Oscar for Shoe Design |
"The creative-designers, the footwear artists, presented a première of a very nice variety of models, that will be distributed on the market in the next months. Among these artists the designer Luciano Brancaglion from Milan outclassed everyone; he was awarded with the Oscar for a woman’s shoe in green antelope: it has a shaped heel 5 cm high and interwoven upper."
