"Live At CBGB" closes the first part of a long career made by the legendary hardcore band from NY. ANDREA ELSTON, tattoo artist now living in Texas, did the cover artwork. The simple and powerful drawing became an icon and Brazilian thrashers RATOS DE PORĀO paid a funny homage to using flip-flops instead of Docs.

In spite of being the band's logo, Elston drawing didn't grace the cover until the second live album seventeen years after the first one, again recorded at CBGB, Agnostic Front's home turf .

With the recent "My Life My Way" (2011), the Docs came back once again as a warning note that screams back to the roots (meaning more HC, less metal). The record label says the cover artwork was made by artist TODD HUBER, who also works alongside Agnostic front singer Roger Miret to design their street clothing line American Made Kustom. Actually Hubber just kept the original Elston artwork and added a laurel wreath.
