"La principale novità delle collezioni italiane di quest'anno è una camicia di visone creata da Carlo Tivioli di Torino, camicia che Tivioli ha definito "Millerighe". Tivioli ha presentato questa camicia con jeans in denim spazzolato e calzature in pelle rigata abbinate. Per i giovani con adeguato porafoglio questo è certamente lo stile giusto della prossima stagione 1972-73"
“The newest and hottest innovation of this years’ Italian collection is a mink shirt designed by Carlo Tivioli of Torino, Italy. The shirt, which Tivioli calls “the thousand Stripes”. […] Carlo Tivioli showed this mink shirt with brushed denim jeans and blue striped leather shoes to match. This is certainly “A Way To Look” for the young affluent spender come fall-winter 72-73.”

“E' stata proprio l'idea dei pantaloni, e precisamente dei popolarissimi jeans, che ha contribuito al successo di Carlo Tivioli, dominatore assoluto della giornata di ieri. La sua idea di fare delle pellicce antipellicce da portarsi sui jeans in fustagno, in velluto, dal mattino alla sera, ha mandato in visibilio il pubblico,- anche quello dei buyers americani che vantano la paternità di questo indumento. Spettacolari, se pure semplici, le camicie color sabbia con righe verticali azzurre e nere; geniale il giubbotto da marine realizzato in volpe a strisce bianche e blu, e decisamente anti-tradizionali i golf in renard. Piacevole si è rivelata la moltiplicazione ottica delle rigature che si riflette anche nelle calzature a stivaletto ideate da Aldo Sacchetti.”
“It was precisely the idea of trousers and specifically the youth-favourite blue-jeans, that contributed to the success of Carlo Tivioli, star of yesterday’s fashion show. His idea of making unconventional fur to be worn with moleskin or corduroy jeans from morning to night, was wowed the audience, also by the American who have the paternity of this garment. Simple yet spectacular sand-colored shirts with vertical blue and black stripes; ingenious the marine’s jacket made of fox fur in blue and white stripes; unconventional the renard sweater. Multi-stripes guaranteed a pleasant optical effect also reflected in the boots designed by Aldo Sacchetti"
