L’esordio ufficiale del pellicciaio torinese Carlo Tivioli risale al 1971, con la prima partecipazione alle sfilate romane nella settimana dell’Alta Moda. Fu con una collezione zebrata nelle tonalità del blu cobalto e del rosso scarlatto, creata avvalendosi della collaborazione con l’amico pittore Enrico Colombotto Rosso, prima di una serie di ispirazioni artistiche, fra cui, negli anni a seguire, Vasarely, Fortuny e Degas. L’accoglienza della stampa decretò il successo della sfilata e di Tivioli.
The official debut of Carlo Tivioli, furrier from Turin, was in 1971, at the Roman fashion shows during the Haute Couture week. He showcased a collection striped in shades of cobalt blue and scarlet, a joint effort with his friend, the painter Enrico Colombotto Rosso: the first in a series of artistic inspirations, including, in the following years, Vasarely, Fortuny and Degas. The press welcomed the new models and ruled the success of the Tivioli show.

Fin dagli esordi e per molti anni a seguire, accanto a Tivioli ci fu l’altro artigiano torinese Aldo Sacchetti, che per l'occasione creò stivaletti zebrati, scarpe da flamenco, stivaletti flosci, sandali metallizzati, scarpe Luigi XIV e contribuì nell’inventare look da "candido motociclista" o "algida zarina" oppure a riproporre miti del cinema, come Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall, Greta Garbo e Audrey Hepburn.
Aldo Sacchetti, the master shoemaker from Turin, worked alongside Tivioli from the beginning and for many years to follow. He created for the debut show zebra boots, flamenco shoes, floppy boots, metallized sandals, Louis XIV shoes and played a major role in designing looks as “the whitest biker”, “the icy Tsarina” or proposing cinema myths such as Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall, Greta Garbo and Audrey Hepburn.
