Il calzaturificio Azzurra di Arezzo va ricordato almeno perché fu il primo calzaturificio a credere in Salvatore Deodato e lanciarlo come modellista, prima che le collaborazioni con alcuni importanti calzaturifici marchigiani e col distretto di Parabiago lo rendessero famoso e ricercatissimo.
The Azzurra shoe factory in Arezzo should be mentioned at least because it was the first one to believe in Salvatore Deodato’s talent and to promote him as a designer. This was before his collaboration with the leading shoe factories from Parabiago and the Marche region that later made him internationally renowned.
