Christian Dior's fall/winter collection 1949/50:
"Christian Dior leads virtuosity to the highest level showing sleeves as wide as lampshades and choosing for his models fine shoes almost baring the foot at Perugia. And all this is very chic, very Parisian!"
[L'Officiel de la Mode - 1949]
Here is a daring model designed by André Perugia for the fall/winter 1949/50 Dior's collection. It came in black or white and had the function to underline with its lightness the sumptuousness of the dress line and its embroideries.
