La Cedrate S.P.A. di Cedrate (frazione di Gallarate, Varese) é stata tra le aziende più attive nella rivoluzione sintetica dei primi anni '70. É anche quella che - visti gli stivali di Celestino - ha ritenuto di aver individuato il progetto giusto per utilizzare il proprio materiale chiamato laSkina.
The factory Cedrate S.P.A. (from Gallarate, Varese) was one of the most active players in the synthetic revolution of the early Seventies. As soon as they saw the Celestino's boots they knew right away it was the right product for their new man-made material called laSkina.

La collaborazione tra Celestino e Cedrate é continuata anche negli anni successivi sebbene con stivali non altrettanto rivoluzionari, ma comunque degni di nota. Lo stivale - protetto da brevetto - é stato l'oggetto del contendere con lo stilista napoletano Mario Valentino.
The cooperation between Celestino and Cedrate SPA continued in the following years with decent boots even though not as striking as this one. Shortly after, Celestino filed a lawsuit against Neapolitan shoe designer Mario Valentino for copyright infringement.
