La Torre Littoria a Nerviano fu inaugurata nel 1933 ed era l’acquedotto che doveva fornire l’acqua al comune di Nerviano e a tutte le sue frazioni. Si trova sulla SS33 (Statale del Sempione) che a Nerviano prende il nome di via Milano. Proprio accanto, al civico 27, è ancora oggi presente, in un penoso stato di abbandono, l’edificio che fino alla fine degli ani ’80 ospitò la produzione del calzaturificio che prese il nome proprio dal vicino edificio.

The Littoria Tower in Nerviano, Milan was inaugurated in 1933. It was the aqueduct to provide water to Nerviano and vicinity. It is located along the SS33 (Simplon road), which is called “via Milano” through the city of Nerviano. Right next door, at street number 27, in a pitiful state of neglect, there is the building that housed the production of the shoe factory Torre (Tower) until the end of the Eighties.

Il calzaturificio Torre fu fondato nel 1937 da due soci, Pastori e Negri. Inizialmente produceva per uomo calzature classiche, da montagna e sportive. Queste ultime anche per donna. Nel corso degli anni si specializzò nella produzione maschile.

The Torre shoe factory was founded after WW2 by two members, Pastori and Negri. At first it produced classic men's shoes and sports', the latter also for women. Over the years, they specialized in production for men.
